Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kanpur to inaugurate and commence several large-scale infrastructure projects valued at over ₹20,000 crore. These efforts are expected to significantly boost Uttar Pradesh’s power generation capacity, including the launch of new thermal power plants at Khurja, Obra, and Jawaharpur.

The Uttar Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has been actively preparing for this visit with widespread cleanliness campaigns and logistical arrangements. These development plans aim to not only enhance electricity supply in the region but also create extensive employment opportunities, supporting the state’s industrial growth agenda.

Experts believe these projects will accelerate Uttar Pradesh’s transformation into a key manufacturing hub, attracting further investments and improving overall infrastructure in the state.
