Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have finally made it to the IPL final after a long wait of nine years, delivering a commanding performance against Punjab Kings in the 2025 season. This marks RCB’s fourth appearance in an IPL final, with their last being in 2016.

In the qualifier match held at Mullanpur, RCB’s bowlers stole the show by dismissing Punjab Kings for just 101 runs in 14.1 overs. The pace duo of Josh Hazlewood and Suyash Sharma each took three wickets, breaking the back of PBKS’s batting line-up.

Chasing a modest target, RCB opener Phil Salt played a sensational innings, scoring 56 runs off just 27 balls. His explosive knock ensured RCB reached the target in just 10 overs, winning the match by 8 wickets.

RCB fans across India are celebrating this massive win, hoping their team will finally lift their first IPL trophy. The IPL 2025 final is scheduled to take place in Ahmedabad on June 3, and excitement is already building as RCB prepares to face their yet-to-be-decided opponent.

With momentum on their side and top players in form, RCB’s dream of becoming IPL champions may finally come true this year.
